Eight centuries ago, the population of Cor-doba was one and a half millions.
In 1236, when Fernando I was king, the arrival of the Christians changed life in the city.
In 1609 the Jews and the Muslims were for-ced to leave Spain.
Life in Spain was diffi-cult if it believes in a non-Catholic God.

If you go through the city you’ll find that the streets are very narrow.
That is because in summer it can be more than forty Celsius degrees.
Water, you can hear flowing in houses which you can visit to eat a meal and drink a sherry.
In May there are plenty ones to visit.
Flowers on the walls, white walls become white and green as a flag.

Wisdom was the heart of Europe eight centuries ago.
Here, in Cordoba, Maimonides, Averroes were philosophers
who interpreted Aristotle according to the Jewish and Muslim religion.
Later Tomas de Aquino did the same according to the Christian religion.
Two of them were born in Cordoba.
Today it is difficult to live among three religions.
What happened?
News tells us it is not possible to live together.
Here, in Cordoba we think with a soup,
sitting, listening to a sweet melody, walking...
meanwhile water tell us it has no past.

Today in this town there are one and a half millions of citizens;
seven and a half hundred thousand live here,
seven and a half hundred thousands are visitors like you.
All become the same city which once was.
When it is very hot,
water is the same for all of us,
because we all drink the same...
Nevertheless in Cordoba it tastes specially good.
